1400-1430: Special Screening of The Home Movies of Mary Brian

Free entry! Bring your films for free examination by volunteer film archivists at the film clinic. You can then watch the films on one of the Cinema Museum’s special screens. You don’t need to bring a film to attend and enjoy the day – everyone has the chance to win fabulous film-related prizes by playing Home Movie Day bingo, and can attend the special screening at 2pm, kindly organised by the Cinema Museum. We’ll be showing the home movies of Mary Brian, a Hollywood actress who successfully made the transition from silent to sound films and was known as ‘the Sweetest Girl in Pictures’.

Film types accepted at the free film clinic:
8mm, super8, 9.5mm, 16mm

Nearest tube: Kennington. Free parking, access via Renfrew Road. Tea and cake will be available.
